Financial Benefits of the Successful Church Building Program

All of Arks services are design to provide a multi-fold return on your investment.

One of the three major tenants of our company, as a ministry to your church, is to save you money.  As such, we firmly believe that Arks services should not add to the total cost of your project, therefore, our services must deliver a net savings.  While the return on the investment (ROI) of Arks services is higher for larger projects, even modest projects can realize savings that are substantially greater than the investment in Arks services.

The financial benefits to your church are realized in two ways

In hard savings which are tangible cash savings which are realized over the course of your building program and "soft" savings which are somewhat more intangible benefits that have significant non-cash value to your church.

Hard savings are gained by:

  • Avoiding preventable mistakes

  • Financial controls

  • Donated materials and labor

  • Effort on the part of the building committee and congregation

  • Shorter construction time (reduces construction interest)

  • Experienced input to the architect and builder in the design and construction process

Soft savings or benefits include:

  • Reduced stress and effort on the part of the church

  • Increased confidence for the Building Committee, Leadership and the Congregation

  • Maintaining of unity in the church body

  • Protection of the Pastor and Leadership and allowing them to focus on the spiritual needs of the church

  • Good organization and communication

  • Improved results in fundraising efforts

If  you bought a something for a dollar and it had a 5 dollar rebate, how much did it really cost you?

Are Arks services a cost?  Well, it really all depends on how you choose to look at it.

A laborer is worthy of his wage (Luke 10:7) and Arks services have a fee associated with them, so one could consider it a cost from that point of view. However, if as a result of those services, the church receives a financial benefit that is several  times the cost, it was a wise investment that netted the church much more than the original "cost". This is the important point...the cost becomes an investment with a return.  Jesus demonstrates to us in the parable of the talents (Matt. 25:15-30) the wisdom of investing wisely that which he has provided.

If we look at the cost of the whole project, we see that the church that utilizes Arks services will spend less money than if they did not do so. In this light, it could be said that it costs money NOT to use Arks services.

We don't expect you to believe us just because we say so.  If you are serious about building AND saving money, we expect you to verify what we say with our other clients!
